I spoke with you today and found your mission quite interesting. I gave you the name David Ballum however, it should have been MICHAEL Ballum. I am quite impressed with you work and find it very interesting. God bless you in your journey!

Hello again Christine. I left a comment on one of your previous posts. I wanted to make you aware of a dear friend of mine that has a series of art that has been inspired by the music of John Coltrane. She is a die-hard Coltrane enthusiast. Wow JD her work is magnificent. Thank you so much for enlightening me. I will write to her and share some of my thoughts about my journey. Yes there are so many of us who are inspired by Trane, and feel blessed to be moved by his music and spirit.

Hi Christine,
Thank you for such a great workshop experience — how inspiring to listen to all the stories of how jazz has touched our lives and those of the children we teach — it seems like Rocco Landesman’s appointment to the National Endowment of the Arts by President Obama would be the place to start trying to get music back into the schools, no? Hope you get in touch with Fiona for piano lessons. Let’s stay in touch.
